May 4th conference call on being an awesome global citizen!
I spent three crazy years traveling the world. Tomorrow, I am speaking in a 30 minute conference call for the American College Personnel Association (the ACPA) on how to be an awesome global citizen. I’ll be sharing two of my favorite stories, one from Northern Thailand and one from Beijing, and how they went on to seriously shape my world view.
I’ll also be explaining how to help develop global citizens. This information will be invaluable for any individual who wants to be an effective global citizen and any leader who wants to help their charges become globally minded.
You will learn:
- how to detect the connections amongst people in our local and global communities
- how to see the impacts of our actions in the West on those in different countries
- how to feel responsible (but not guilty) for the quality of life on our planet
- a realistic approach for you or your team to begin taking action
The ACPA has allowed me to open this program up to anyone who is interested! If you would like to join you may do so here: http://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/vztvh. The call is at 12:00EST tomorrow (April 4th).
I hope to have you on board!
