Offsetting the carbon footpring of Changing the World 101!

One of the very few things I dislike about my business is the amount of time that I end up spending on the road. Don’t get me wrong, I actually enjoy the act of traveling, but it bothers me that I am creating such a huge carbon footprint for Changing the World 101.

With this in mind, I am extremely excited to announce that Changing the World 101 has partnered with NativeEnergy to help build the new Greensburg Wind Farm in Kansas. In doing this, I am offsetting the emissions from both Changing the World 101’s travel and office energy use. This purchase helps provide essential funding for this new wind project.

I’m genuinely inspired by the Greensburg story. On May 4, 2007 a massive tornado leveled Greensburg, destroying 95% of the town.  The community came together and voted to rebuild Greensburg  in the environmentally responsible ways that would leave a legacy for future generations. You can learn more and read Greensburg’s story here.

If you want to explore offsetting your own carbon emissions as an individual or for your organization, I strongly recommend contacting Owen Glubiak at NativeEnergy.
